Rooms 23 & 24 : The Music Rooms

The Music Department has two main teaching spaces.  Room 23 has an open space so that it is possible to hold rehearsals with the choir and the orchestra.  Room 24 has standard desks, making it easier to engage in written work.  There are also two practice rooms, which are used primarily for instrumental tuition.

Room 23 is equipped with a set of Yamaha keyboards.

Room 24 is equipped with a set of Apple iMac computers.

All are linked to a network, giving access to a wide range of services.

Software includes Logic and Sibelius.

Music GCSE is available as an option at Key Stage 4.  Emphasis is on developing knowledge and understanding through practical experience.
