QUIZ NIGHT - 22 march 2019
The recent Quiz Night was not only an enormously fun evening with teachers, parents, friends and families taking part but it also raised the fabulous sum of £1,291.90! In the present climate of school funding cuts this money is much needed - going toward providing essentials for our children’s education.
More than 10 teams participated, negotiating several rounds of questions covering various subjects put to them by our Quiz Master, Mr Steve Cook. Congratulations to the winning table and commiserations to the ‘Wooden Spoons’!
We are very grateful to everyone who donated prizes which allowed a great raffle to be held. As tradition dictates, a round of ‘Heads or Tails’ was enjoyed in the interval.
Money rasied by PTFA events donated to departments
In October 2018, Head of Science Mr Lynch received a cheque for £550 from PTA club monies. This will go towards a Year 11 revision package.

Media- Ms Roze recieved £600 for 2 new camcorders.
DT- Mr Greig recieved £500 for a new sander.
Science- recieved £216 for a new infra-red camera.
