Extra Curricular, Trips & Activities
All students are encouraged to develop their personal interests through the many extra-curricular activities available.
There are a variety of lunch-hour and after-school clubs and activities for those interested in drama, music and sport (various clubs include athletics, dance, football, rugby, gymnastics, netball, hockey). We also have a School Choir who regularly represent the School at Westminster Catherdal.
Other clubs include the ECO Committee, Student Council and our Diversity Committee.
Many expeditions, field study trips and outings take place during school time, in the evening, at weekends and during the holidays and they form a natural extension to the school curriculum. Outings are arranged to the theatre, art galleries, museums, places of worship, stately homes, castles, sporting events, residential study centres, lectures, demonstrations, conferences and exhibitions. The Geography Department organises expeditions to Dorset and Iceland and the History department takes students to the Tower of London, Belgium and Berlin. We traditionally run a skiing trip each February half term.
