ORLA THORPE

Hi, my name is Orla Thorpe and I am a part of the pastoral side of the Student Leadership Team. My specific responsibilities include numeracy support and the year 11 into year 12 transition. Currently, I am studying maths, further maths, physics and French and I hope to go on to study maths at university but I am not sure what I want to do after that. I really enjoyed my time in years 7 through 11 at St Michael’s so progressing on to its sixth form seemed like the natural next step for me. I know from personal experience that starting any new chapter or school can be really daunting so I want to do whatever I can to facilitate this transition.
